LG Kp501 Is Simply Elegant
LG KP501 or better known as LG Cookie is touch screens phone from LG. This is one of the cheapest phones in its series and is definitely a simple and elegant smartphone.
Its class ergonomic design places it on a much higher shelf in terms of its looks and technology as it is much sleeker and lighter in the series of smart phones. This silver and black candy bar has a dimension of 106.5x55.4x11.9mm and weighs just 89g with battery. You can say that it is one of the lightest touch screen enabled mobiles phone also.
Almost whole of the front is devoted to the enormous 3.0' touch screen and only a small space is reserved for Accept calls, Reject calls, and Shortcut keys.
The touch screen has a main menu organized into four parts, accessible through right side tabs. The first tab leads to all the phone and message functions. Second tab of the series makes multimedia and entertainment functional. All the productivity tools are enabled with the help of third tab, and the fourth one gets the user to get along with the settings.
Its connectivity tools include Bluetooth 2.1with A2DPsupport and the USB 2.0 for PC synchronization.USB cables have a five mode option wherein the option are intuitive and easy to use and include PC Internet, Mass Storage, PC Suite, Music Sync and I Sync respectively.
Music player users can filter the songs by artist, album, and genre and can also make their own playlist. This LG Cookie lacks 3.5mm stereo headset which makes it a little less friendly with music lovers. However this drawback can be overcome by attaching better quality headphones on your own. Both FM Radio and music player can be accessed on the home screen through their correspondent widgets.
The battery backup has been claimed at 350hrs stand-by and 3 hrs 30min talk time with minimal brightness and locking light time to 10 seconds.
